Sex, Lies, and Videotape
OK, readers, help me with this one. Which character(s) is(are) the creepiest in this story:
1.) The Bronx special ed teachers who were caught (allegedly) having sex in the teachers lounge.
2.) The unknown person who set up the video camera to record the sexcapades.
3.) The teacher who somehow stumbled on the videotape and then anonymously mailed the smut to his principal. (The teacher and his tell-tale heart eventually caved and admitted to sending the tape.)
4.) The principal who allegedly then reassigned the tell-tale heart guy to another part of the school and suggested the dude had anger issues.
I really can't decide. Send your votes to TheChalkboard@nycsa.org.
At least this story didn't have obvious child victims, like some of the other stories in this morning's newspapers in NYC. But this kind of stuff is amazing. When I was reporting at the Daily News, we were constantly getting tips about all sorts of faculty-lounge hanky-panky. Is there something about those renowned Board of Education doorknobs that serves as an aphrodisiac?
