Snow Follies
Hope everyone made it through the Great Blizzard of '06 in one piece. It's been more than 4-years since Rudy Giuliani has been mayor of NYC, but I still can't help comparing the difference in styles between his Rudiness and Mayor Mike Bloomberg.
Watching the snow press conference yesterday, Bloomberg sounded like a guy who was prepared to wine and dine the snow until each flake agreed to remove itself from city streets. Contrast that to Giuliani, who always gave the impression he was going to personally kick the crap out of every flake before it hit the ground.
Not sure what this has to do with education, although I'm sure there are plenty of folks out there who will find some relevance.
