The Chalkboard Psychedelic Flashback!

What we were blogging about a year ago this week:

-- New York Magazine profiles hedge fund guru Joel Greenblatt and his Success For All charity work.

-- The Chalkboard revisits the topic of teacher turnover, burnout, and warm bodies.

-- Parents take Mayor Bloomberg to task for cancelled school construction projects, which have a political bend.

-- A NY Times article looks at San Francisco-based New Schools Venture Fund, and stirs up differing reactions from edubloggers.

-- High School graduation rates are released for both NYC and the state. Any way you look at the numbers, they are not pretty.
