Bruno to UFT: Your Classes Are Too Large

Senate Majority Leader Joe Bruno doesn't understand how New York City teachers get anything done with all those kids crawling around in their large classes. Bruno tells the UFT at its Albany legislative conference:

When you look at the statewide averages and you look at what goes on in the city, it is not conducive to safe and efficient teaching. And that's critically important.

Smaller classes top the union's legislative agenda for the year. Does Charter Chuck even have a legislative agenda?
