Good Grief

Why are we so proud of public education again? This poor Brooklyn teacher seems to have been let down by everyone. And she's not alone. (Hat tip: NYC Educator.)

PS - Check out the rest of her blog. It sounds like the same experience that so many other NYC teacher bloggers have had. It breaks your heart. When this teacher leaves for greener pastures in a year or two, will it be because of the salary or the grief load?
