Pay Boost for NYC City Council
Council members voted yesterday to hike their base pay from $90,000 to $112,500. (Hey, it takes a lot of work to allow Mayor Bloomberg to make you look completely irrelevant!) This is starting to get embarrassing for hardworking members of the state legislature, who still pull down a measly $79,500. Lots of renewed talk about you-know-what, except it's not coming from any of the three men in the room.
