Important Higher Ed News!!!

The most important thing on national television last night wasn't the appearance of Ed Secretary Margaret Spellings and her SLG's on Jeopardy, but the systematic dismantling of the Duke Blue Devils men's basketball team by the much stronger Marquette Warrior squad.

Basketball professor and Duke-pimp Dick Vitale may have been taken by surprise by the final score, but regular readers of The Chalkboard knew weeks ago that this year's Marquette squad has been eating the breakfast of champions.

As former philosopher/basketball coach Al McGuire used to say: "Celebrate the temporary."

Have a great Thanksgiving everyone, and thanks for reading.
