Help Wanted

A dissident parent group at the elite NYC public school NEST+m is advertising for a new principal, the NY Sun reports.

My other post today on this school is a bit long, so I didn't want to weigh it down even more with this. If you are pressed for time, skip right to the second to the last paragraph for my buried lede of the day.

But for this particular story, this paragraph sums up the scenario:

While the former PTA members' ads say they are seeking a new principal on behalf of the gifted and talented school, they have no authority to hire someone. The current principal, Olga Livanis, has said she doesn't plan on leaving.
