Still Rolling
Achievement First and Dacia Toll won't stop... More good press in the Hartford Courant.
A couple of other things, as I get caught up:
-- Kids at Future Leaders Institute in Harlem are joining with researchers at Yale University to study the effects of healthy food on academic performance. (Via NY Sun.)
-- NYCSA President Bill Phillips was honored Friday night in Washington at the Center for Education Reform's 13th Anniversary keg party. Also honored were Gov. George Pataki, NYC Schools Chancellor Joel Klein, and Village Academies founder and CEO Deborah Kenney.
-- We hear the tiny young soccer stars at Harlem Link Charter School and Harlem Success Academy ended their hard-fought battle on the turf Saturday with a zero-zero tie.
