Going Back To Cali

SACRAMENTO - For the next few days, The Chalkboard will be blogging from Sacramento, the site of the National Charter Schools Conference. Themes emerging right off the bat among attendees: the tension that sometimes exists between choice and quality/accountability and how the two can co-exist. Lots of chatter about better defining charter schools and the movement, rather than letting opponents do it all, etc.

Oh, and this: no man-purses this year. Sleek computer bags with Dr. Seuss stuff on it instead.
