Charter Facility News
In Albany, Brighter Choice Charter School has found a new building which, when renovated, will handle its planned expansion from 250 to 500 students. Albany Times Union covers the development here.
Meanwhile in Buffalo, the Elmwood Village Charter School has inked a deal to take over 24,000 square feet in the newly renovated 1900's-era New York Telephone building. Buffalo Business First covers it here.
A bunch 0f new NYC charter schools are in the process of finding out whether or not they will be able to be housed in unused space in city Department of Ed buildings. Hopefully, everyone will play nice, there will be no sabotage efforts, etc., but this is NYC afterall...
