NYSUT PAC: More Money Than God
Well, at least more money than WalMart, according to Mike Antonucci's read of Top Corporate Political Action Committees of 2005. NYSUT was also accused of wasting money on lavish hotels and other amenities this week.
The Chalkboard strongly believes NYSUT should be able to raise and spend its own money as it pleases. It is our job to remember that NYSUT is a big business that will do whatever it takes to preserve the gravy train.
Got that, Charter Chuck? They not only want to chop your legs off, they've got more cash-on-hand as we speak than your puny little charter school will ever see to finance the chopping.
